One-on-one Personal Training
Human Machine’s One-on-one Personal Training program was designed for anyone that feels they will get better results in less time under the direction of a certified and experienced personal trainer. – no matter your age, current physical condition or previous training experience. We use a combination of strength training sessions, high intensity aerobic workouts, nutritional supplements and bi-weekly nutritional guidance to systematically transform your body. At the end of the just a few months, you will have better muscle tone and definition, less body fat, better balance, more confidence and higher energy levels.
The secret to the success of Human Machine's one-on-one Personal Training is the comprehensive nature of the program. Our highly customized program includes initial fitness evaluations, our intensive total-body strength and aerobic workouts, and the bi-weekly monitoring of your diet and nutrition program. You will never feel alone in your journey toward better health!
Fitness Evaluations: How fit are you? Three key assessments benchmark your fitness level.
Before you even pick up your first dumbbell, we will measure your weight, body fat percentage, lean muscle mass, bone density and hydration levels using our state-of-the-art Tanita Ironman Body Composition Monitor. Next, we will use our FreeMotion Incline Trainer to quickly and accurately measure your current level of aerobic fitness (or VO2 max) using the industry-standard Ebbeling Fitness Test.
Each month, we will be able to assess your progress using this equipment to make sure that we are moving in the right direction toward your fitness goals.
Your Workouts: Challenging, fun and never the same.
These sessions will focus on total-body strength development, core stability, aerobic conditioning, balance and agility training. We’ll break out all the toys for your workouts: barbells, dumbbells, elastic tubing and bands, medicine balls, sand bags, wobble boards, stability balls and the functional trainer. We’ll get your heart pounding with some short intervals on our incline trainer, Concept-3 rower, jump rope, Airdyne exercise bike and the Human Machine staircase. Human Machine trainers pride themselves on creating fresh, new and challenging workouts each and every time you step foot into our training facility.
Monitoring Your Program: Using the dotFit Me program and your heart rate monitor to help keep you on track.
We will use the web-based dotFit Me diet, nutrition and exercise program to keep an eye on everything that you put into your mouth while you are participating in your new program. Don’t think that just because you’ve started a new fitness program that you can eat anything you want. You can work out several times a week and still not lose weight because you haven’t altered how much and what you eat. After you log in the foods that you have eaten during the day, the dotFit Me program will issue a detailed nutrient and calorie report that will help keep you on the right track. Every other week, we will review this report together in order to make progressive changes to your eating plan and help you make better food choices.
Additionally, your Polar F4 heart rate monitor will record every workout session and give you valuable information about how hard you’ve worked. It will display how long you worked out, your maximum and average heart rate as well as and the total number of calories you’ve burned during a workout. Now you’ll know if you’re working hard enough or if you need to ramp the intensity of your workouts up a bit.
The One-on-one Personal Training program consists of:
• 4 one-on-one personal training sessions each month
• Two bi-monthly private coaching sessions dedicated to nutrition and diet
• Polar F4 Heart rate monitor
• Monthly body composition and aerobic fitness assessments at the Fitness Institute
• Bottled water, Cytomax performance drink or Muscle Milk protein shake with every personal training session
• You may purchase additional sessions each month for $75 per session.
