The Trainers
Our certified, professional trainers have the experience, education and personal commitment that is necessary to help you achieve your fitness goals.
Jon Speakman
In 1995, Jon Speakman was 20 pounds overweight, smoked a pack of Marlboro Lights a day, and would choose a rum and Coke over a bottled water without hesitation. Today, Jon is 40 pounds lighter, has been a non-smoker for 10 years, exercises everyday and can often be found with a bottle of water in one hand and an iPhone in the other. He is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a certified personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise. Since beginning his personal training company in 2004, Jon has worked with a wide-variety of clientele, but focuses primarily on middle-aged men and women that would like to make the same positive changes to their health that he did over 10 years ago. He has been featured in the Austin American Statesman for his Whole Foods cooking classes and, in 2008, Jon opened Human Machine Athletic Club, an elite athletic training facility in Lakeway, Texas.
